These terms of use govern your use of Toronto Halal Food, a free community directory of halal restaurants, butchers, bakeries, and grocery stores in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms.
Halal certification
Halal certification status is self-reported by businesses. Toronto Halal Food does not independently verify certifications, and we recommend confirming directly with each establishment before you order. We are not responsible for the quality, authenticity, or halal status of any listed business.
Listing submissions
By submitting a listing, you confirm that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, duplicated, or not halal-related.
Acceptable use
You may use the directory for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, copy, or redistribute the directory content without written permission. Automated harvesting of listings, emails, or business data is expressly prohibited.
Intellectual property
The directory’s design, text, and organization are owned by Toronto Halal Food. Business names, logos, and images remain the property of their respective owners.
Accuracy of information
Listings are submitted by business owners and community members. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that hours, menus, prices, or contact details are current. Always verify time-sensitive information directly with the business.
External links
Listings may link to third-party websites such as restaurant websites or mapping services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.
Limitation of liability
The directory is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toronto Halal Food is not liable for any damages arising from the use of this website, its listings, or visits to listed businesses.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms of use from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
